I am Alicia Swart, the proud owner and lead designer of AlSuLi Creative. My journey began when I made the bold decision to leave behind a lucrative corporate career and pursue my creative dream in 2021. The name AlSuLi was born during the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic when myself (Al), Suzanne (Su), and Elize (li) started gathering for creative Tuesday evenings. These evenings provided us, as moms, with a much-needed break to enjoy a glass of wine and indulge in our creative passions, whether it be making clothes, earrings, or anything that sparked our imagination.

In 2022, AlSuLi Creative officially came to life. It all started one morning as I sat in a stunning decor and gifts shop in Centurion, sipping my coffee. They had a specific need for earrings and leather belts, and a thought struck me: "I can do that." From that moment on, there was no turning back. We expanded our offerings to genuine leather handbags in October 2022. With God's favour and blessings, we have experienced success in a remarkably short period of time, which we don’t take for granted. 

We are now 4 ladies in the AlSuLi team and we are immensely proud of what AlSuLi has achieved thus far, but also filled with anticipation for the bright future that lies ahead. With gratitude and excitement, we look forward to continuing this creative journey and making a lasting impact in people's lives by providing them with unique fashion pieces that brightens up their day.
